In crafting the activity book for The Capitol Kempinski Singapore, we wanted to celebrate the hotel's rich historical tapestry. From its storied annex, the Capitol Theatre, which once hosted the legendary Charlie Chaplin in the 1930s, to honouring the vision of the hotel group’s founder, Berthold Kempinski, the book highlights the property's legacy of glamour and culture.
We also took the opportunity to weave in Singapore’s own history. For example, we featured a botanical art-inspired colouring activity featuring pineapple, highlighting the island's past as a major producer of the fruit. These activities connect the hotel’s heritage with the city’s dynamic evolution, offering young guests a fun, creative, and engaging way to explore fascinating historical milestones.

Celebrate Key Characters
The iconic Ladies in Red are featured throughout the kids' activity book, representing the enduring presence of these brand ambassadors who embody the warmth and hospitality of The Capitol Kempinski Singapore.
To celebrate their role, we’ve included a fun drawing and colouring activity where young visitors can colour in their own Ladies in Red, showcasing their elegance and charm as they represents the hotel’s exceptional service. This activity not only highlights the significance of the Ladies in Red but also gives children the chance to express creativity and appreciation for this unique and beloved aspect of the hotel's identity.
Savour Culinary Offerings and Embrace Local Culture
In the activity book, we’ve also incorporated fun, food-themed activities that introduce young guests to the hotel’s renowned dining experiences. At Frieda Restaurant, children can match German food-related words to their English counterparts, exploring new vocabulary while learning about the restaurant’s delicious offerings. At the Broadway American Diner, kids are encouraged to draw their own burger, tapping into their creativity while imagining the perfect meal.
