To bring the spirit of Hawaii to life, we have infused the activity book with creative and engaging ways for kids to connect with the local culture. Young guests can design their own welcome leis and aloha attire, allowing them to add personal flair to these iconic symbols of island hospitality.
A fun and engaging matching activity introduces kids to commonly used Hawaiian words, helping them develop a deeper appreciation for the local language and its significance in daily life. Hawaii’s unique wildlife comes to life in this activity book through engaging and educational activities. Kids can get creative with a Honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle) colouring page, learning about this beloved marine creature and its cultural significance to the Hawaiian people. A Spot the Odd One Out activity features the Nene, Hawaii’s state bird, encouraging young explorers to appreciate the islands’ diverse wildlife.
By incorporating these native animals into playful activities, the book helps children develop a deeper connection to Hawaii’s natural wonders and the importance of protecting them.
Define the Guest Experience and Journey
To highlight the family-friendly amenities of Embassy Suites by Hilton Oahu Kapolei, we incorporated them into two engaging activities. A Spot the Difference challenge features the hotel’s beautiful outdoor pool, complete with a mini waterfall, encouraging kids to sharpen their observation skills while getting excited for poolside fun.
At Sprigs Grille, the hotel’s restaurant, young guests can tap into their creativity with a Draw Your Meal activity, designing their perfect plate inspired by global and local flavours. These activities not only add to the fun but also help kids connect with their surroundings, making their stay even more memorable.
